Today you need to continue to work on your Color Projects. Remember to turn these in as you go. Don’t forget to name each piece of art after the color combination demonstrated in the picture. There is plenty of help for you on-line here:
http://www.worqx.com/color/combinations.htm. Also, don’t forget that there is information in the Project Description folder. All six of your art pieces will be due by the end of the period TOMORROW.
You need to finish up your movie clip symbol animated along a motion path mini-project. These MUST be completed by the end of the period. If you are finished or if you finish early, you need to continue with Python. Don’t forget to save EACH individual program you do from the manual. (Make yourself a folder and save these as you go, so when I ask you to turn one in, you can just go pluck it from your folder and drop it to me.) I will be asking you to turn each of these programs in eventually. Also, make sure the program that you turn in runs. Some of your Hello World programs had practice junk in it from the manual. Those obviously didn’t work when I tested them.
Today you can do either (or both) of these things:
1. Continue to work on your website page design in Photoshop. Yes, you WILL be using this to do a standard website, so it is important that you get this finished AND that it looks GOOD.
2. Create custom graphics that you think that you will use on your new blog site. At the very minimum, you should be customizing the header. You will not be allowed to use the generic images that come with your theme. I would keep a master psd of each graphic for future editing, but also create a separate folder with the jpg or gif versions as well.
Today you need to be editing your photographs and writing a critique. The directions for this are in 4thDesignSpring11.Project Descriptions and Rubrics>Photo Editing and Critiquing.
In this document are hints for editing your pictures, giving them titles, as well as the prompts for your critique. All editing, titling and critiquing needs to be completed by the end of the period.
Bonus assignment:
Have you ever heard the saying a picture is worth a thousand words? Well, pick any one of your pictures as the inspiration for a story or poem. Some ways to get started:
Put your picture in the top of the Word document of your story or poem and turn it in.
